As a thank you for being a judge for the Glam Rock Magazine Model Awards I received a 4-page spread in the magazine! I got this news a little over a month ago. In that time I organized a team of 9 people (including myself) to collaborate for the photoshoot. I created 4 looks for the editorial consisting of a tulle, lace, chiffon, floral prints, and burnout fabric. My designs were photographed by Barry Underhill, styled by Erin Shorts,  and modeled by Holly Watson. Custom wigs were created by Coco Coquette and Sabrina Lotfi provided makeup. Accessories were loaned by Doublespeak, Shalottlilly, and Myra Simmone.

The magazine will be released on January 15th. For the time being enjoy some behind the scenes photos!

For the Winter 2012 issue, Glam Rock Magazine will be doing a yearbook style awards section awarding models for such categories as “best tattoos”, “most colorful”, “most iconic”, and many other categories. If you are a model and would like to be in the running for a title send one high-resolution photograph of yourself along with your name, location (if entering in International/USA category), and a link to your online portfolio to glamrockcontests@gmail.com. Submissions are due on December 10, 2011. The panel of judges will vote their favorite for each category and the winners will be displayed in the Winter 2012 issue out January 1st. I am so excited to be on the panel along with Mae of Photography By Mae, model Alexandra Merino, and the editor in-chief of Glam Rock Magazine, Chelsea Tavis.

Glam Rock Magazine officially launched their Summer 2011 issue for free online viewing on Wednesday. Several days ago Glam Rock Magazine was seeking images from designers and photographers to contribute to their “Goth” style article to be featured in the upcoming Spring 2011 issue. I submitted the photo from my recent photoshoot with ShelbyJean, Lex Ewing, and DividingME. To my surprise the photo got selected!
