H&M Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

David Fincher’s “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” is one of this year’s most anticipated films. Costume designer Trish Summerville recently collaborated with H&M to create a dark, urban collection inspired by Lisbeth Salander, the film’s anti-heroine. It’s packed with leather jackets, ripped jeans, and hoodies colored in the deepest shades of black, grey, and crimson. The collection is available in select stores. Unfortunately the entire 30-piece collection is not available in Dallas and Buffalo stores, you are lucky to find jeans and basic t-shirts. Still want Lisbeth’s look? I found some great deals online and diy tutorials to look like Lisbeth.

Camp Kickitoo Trailer

Camp Kickitoo’s official website is now live! Check out the trailer, cast and crew, and make sure to “like” them on Facebook. The director informed me that he entered the film in over 20 film festivals and that Camp Kickitoo has been selected for screening in the San Diego Black Film Festival January 26-29th! I will update if the film gets distribution, awards, and DVDs for sale.

Glam Rock Editorial Photoshoot

As a thank you for being a judge for the Glam Rock Magazine Model Awards I received a 4-page spread in the magazine! I got this news a little over a month ago. In that time I organized a team of 9 people (including myself) to collaborate for the photoshoot. I created 4 looks for the editorial consisting of a tulle, lace, chiffon, floral prints, and burnout fabric. My designs were photographed by Barry Underhill, styled by Erin Shorts,  and modeled by Holly Watson. Custom wigs were created by Coco Coquette and Sabrina Lotfi provided makeup. Accessories were loaned by Doublespeak, Shalottlilly, and Myra Simmone.

The magazine will be released on January 15th. For the time being enjoy some behind the scenes photos!
