To Smash Or Not To Smash?

When my cousin asked me to make her niece a tutu for a Cake Smash photo session, I was psyched…then I asked myself, “What is a Cake Smash?” A Cake Smash is the tradition of baking your one-year-old birthday child their very own 1st birthday cake that they can do whatever they would like. Ultimately, this is the first “Man v. Food” challenge in your life. I wonder if Adam Richman knew this was his calling when he was one?

Ms. Rylee, you are so precious! Thank you for celebrating your birthday in a Kramp Kouture tutu!

Be “Cool” In a Tutu

I started this business by making tutus, and now that so many places are selling them, let me explain what makes a Kramp Kouture tutu stand out from the mass-produced cheap ones you see online and in your local shopping mall. Our tutus are handmade and I’ve been making them for two years, so I’ve learned how to maximize the all important fluff factor! Our tutus are bigger and more flamboyant where it counts. After all, it’s silly to wear a “subtle” tutu isn’t it?

Not only is a Kramp Kouture tutu fluffier than the competition, our carefully-selected colors and material are different, bolder, and more fun than anything you’ll ever find in the mass-market stores. We were out in front of this trend and our tutus are simply the best.

If you’re going to wear something fun and crazy as a tutu, why not do it with some pizzazz and style? Don’t be lame and buy one at Hot Topic when for a couple of bucks more you can support an up and coming, small-business fashion designer instead of another detached corporation.

Just look them over and you’ll see that our tutus rock!

Brittany thinks so too…. And they’re on sale now so get your PayPal game on!

Super Sweet Quinceañera!

What I’ve come to realize is many of my fans and friends love my ever growing collection of tutus. They are so fun to make and the possibilities are endless design wise. One problem, many girls have a hard time figuring out where to wear one. Most of my clients wear them to clubs, gay bars, or the occasional theme party. I say go crazy!

When my recent client custom ordered my latest “Razzleberry” tutu, I was ecstatic! She wore hers to a 1980′s themed Quinceañera. I wish I was there to enjoy the homemade cupcakes, karaoke, and dancing; while rockin’ out in Kramp Kouture, of course.

Dog Fashion Disco!

I am currently working on a Fall ’09 collection for dogs. Why dogs? I was contacted by the Eastern Niagara Animal Welfare Alliance, Inc. to participate in their charitable dog fashion show at the Lockport Town & Country Club in November. My poor Maltese will have to be my dress form for this project. After looking at websites like Glamour Dog and Trixie and Peanut for inspiration, I found my style closely matches these “pampered pooch” lines – bright colors, ruffled dresses, and fluffy tutus. Check back for pictures of Maurice in my new puppy line. For now, enjoy this!
